Veterinarian & Owner
Since graduating from Texas A&M University in 2014, William has focused his career on Emergency Medicine. Over the years, he has expanded his impact by creating and operating his own locum veterinary business, serving specialty ER hospitals across multiple states.
His locum work has provided a platform to pursue his passions for education and communication. At the core of his practice is a simple yet powerful goal: to deliver compassionate, collaborative care for animals while helping pet owners better understand their pets’ needs. Dr. Hodges believes that well-informed clients lead to healthier pets, a stronger profession, and more fulfilled veterinarians—ultimately creating a happier experience for all involved.
Beyond client care, Dr. Hodges devotes time to mentoring colleagues and supporting hospital teams. He lives by the motto: “Our profession must evolve, and we evolve through collaboration.”
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hodges is a bow-tie enthusiast, beekeeper and fresh honey maker, coffee lover, baker, soccer fan, gardener, and runner—most recently completing his first ultramarathon! He is also a husband and a new dad.
At home he has 2 dogs, 5 horses, and a ranch with cows. His favorite patients to treat are cats, and his spirit animal is the tardigrade, better known as the water bear.
